I just watched the new film from HBO, titled, "Taking Chance".
If you're not familair with it, it's based on real-life events.
Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming.
Amazing and very powerful movie- take the time to watch it and honour the fallen that are defending our freedom....
It's 1hour 20 that I didn't have time to spare when I put it on, but thought i'd have a quick looksy- couldn't stop once I started.
Kevin Bacon did a fantastic job with this.
I so wish we (Australians) had the same sense of patriotism, pride and respect that many in the USA seem to have in relation to this sort of thing... :-(
