I agree with West Philly, this has been beaten to dust. I think the kid learned his lesson. Or maybe not.

My beef is: Why the devil do I see a "Dating for Seniors" banner at the top and sides of this page? Is this your idea of a joke, Philly?

Mr. Allen doesn't want us to laugh, but his "lots of training" consists of a sticker chart and some pull-ups. Very well done sir, now that you are potty trained, maybe you can consider becomming a firefighter.

I thought that the department as a whole is supposed to work together as a team. There will be a call someday and it will require everyone to work together. We are suppose to work together.....not cause divisions. We all can learn from Senior Members. Then.....we can learn from Juniors and Explorers too and see how they feel about thier experience in the call they were on. Just a thought........! :-)

Mr. Allen. I took the time to read through all the posts, but noted that you have not replied back yet... Not a good sign buddy.

Here's my advise for you regardless if you want to take it...

If you truly intend on becoming a firefighter, then you better start making some significant efforts to apologize to all of us "senior members" for your blatant disregard for both your fellow firefighters and for your department as well as the folks who are involved with this international website for firefighters.

I am amazed sometimes at how naive someone can be when posting something on a public forum like this. It doesn't take a lot of effort to Google your department and find out that by calling (563) 374-1557, one could actually talk to one of the senior members of the Wheatland Fire Department and share your post.

Looking at the description of your deparment, I noted that the Wheatland FD is listed as having 19 firefighters. It would not surprise me to see this updated to reflect that the Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department has 18 firefighters and one very inmature wanna be that needs to do a lot of growing up before being allowed to be considered one of us.

Executive Summary: You don't have enough whiskers to be making this kind of post kid. You also have to start thinking before writing something. If you do actually pursue a career in this profession, you have to understand that most larger departments now take the time to look at websites such as this, for comments, actions or things that were found to be either questionable or innappropriate. Again, retract your webpost, say you are sorry and that it was a case of bad judgement. It's ok to make a mistake here and there, we all have. The question is, are your mature and responsible enough to unbury yourself here and say, whoops... I am sorry.

Keegan, you have a LOT to learn. i would highly recommend you listen, watch and pay VERY close attention to the seniors. They (Most) have been around and know what to do and when to do it. And then for you to come in here and start calling Kali and Waller a "Pushover"??? dude, if i was anywhere around your department it would not be pretty. If i could get ahold of your Chief and let him know about what you said in here, i think you would be another brat gone.

Good luck dude and hope you know as much as you think you do.
