This is a true story........I just HAD to send it out.

Fire truck hits pedestrian
August 11, 2009 - 4:18 pm
By: Scott Simpson

Police were at the scene of a strange collision in Lower Sackville on Tuesday afternoon.
A woman was hit by a fire truck.
The truck was eastbound approaching the intersection of Glendale Drive and Pinehill Drive, with lights and sirens on, just after 4pm.
Police say a 25 year old woman walked out from the shoulder and stopped in the middle of the road.
The truck hit her.
Paramedics took her to the QE2 for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Of course, she will sue the FD...
Wonder if she's related to the guy that didn't notice the train coming?????
even if she tries to sue, the truck was running lights and siren, usless she is blind and deaf she really don't have much of a case.
You'd be suprised that when people do things like this and do sue that they usually win in court even if they were stupid enough to stop in the middle of road. The public views this as the fire department was acting like a bunch of idiots by driving way to fast.
ya think maybe it was intentional just so she could have a couple extra $$ in her pocket? What a stupid (there's that word again) way to go about it. If it WAS a suicide attempt, I'm thinking maybe it wasn't something she planned for and therefore didn't see the STUPIDITY in it. And IF she was blind and deaf, She would have to be really stupid to go walking on a busy road with no aid. So all-in-all.....I agree with the first comment.....Ya can't fix stupid. I would be curious to know how it would turn out if she DID sue......hmmmmmm.
figures and she will try to sue...
Paying more attention to her MP3 or cell phone maybe ????
