Paging Devices

I have seen in some of the past disscusions that some of you have emergency alerts sent to your cell phones. I was wanting to see if any of you could tell me how/where this can be done. Is it thru the EMA , cell phone company, dispatch ? We have the motorola hand held radios and pagers. My department was wanting to check into the cell phone alerts. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad we could help. Unfortunately I didn't make it to our meeting as I now have the H1N1 virus along with my 3 yr. old daughter and now my wife is showing signs of it. But take care and keep us updated bro!!!!

Thanks Jeff. My daughter and I are taking Tamiflu and doing much better. Now my wife is getting sicker and on her way to the pharmacy to get her dose of meds. If you get it, don't go on any fires!!! Had a house fire today and it kicked my ass!!! I thought I was good enough to go but I thought wrong.
