Need help with a pool table
We just recieved a donated pool table to put in the hall. I have heard of some really cool custom felts for them,and since it could use new felt and its all torn apart right now what better time to do it. I did a little research and found out that felt can be really expensive,and out of our budget. I was just wondering if any body has had one done and where a more economical felt can be found?

I personally dont know of any specific places to get new material... I would start my search at a local pool hall (if you have one in your area), I'm sure they go through alot of felt for their tables and probably know the best/cheapest place to get it.

re-felting a table is very costly, looked into doing mine not to long ago. I think Dustin has the right of it. Check with local dealers and see what they will do for the fire department. You might find one that will do the work for free, or donate so material.
You second choice is a hobby store that deals in materieal. You can sometimes pick up felt there, just have to becareful on the kind you get, want to make sure its very smooth so it wont slow down the balls. Good Luck
