Merry Christmas Brothers and Sisters. Question for you all
FDNY 27 years. My thoughts are with all the Military, Firefighters and Police working today to keep our great Nation safe. God bless you all. The NYPD experienced a major loss here in New York this week and the craziness continues. Keep them in your thoughts.
I have a request for everyone. I'm looking for your best recipes. International food is very welcome. I'm putting together a local booklet and will be donating donations to the widows and children funds for the FDNY/NYPD and IAFF. It's a small token and it's something I have lived with for many years (The good food!).
So if you are in please send me your best meal. Include your name (First is OK if you don't want to include your full name however that would be best). I will need:

BTW I posted this in another forum and was asked to prove who I am. I'm not sure how to do that. I've been on the FDNY 27 years this January, a Lieutenant since 2002. Just looking to do something to help out.

When I goggled firefighter forum I came up with these 2. I said on the bottom of the post that I posted it in the other forum. These seem to be the 2 biggest.

The Vancouver thing caused quite a stir. When FWD clears you maybe I will give you a couple of Italian recipes I like very much. Or maybe my from scratch brownie recipe.

LOL...well I have no clue why that said that. I just private messaged someone from the forum with my bio (however weak it is). We are doing this as a company. Talked about it Christmas Eve in teh kitchen while we were watching the news about the 2 cops who were killed. We all have friends across the globe and thought this ws a way to help out. That's all. Never meant to offend.
