and you are right, we Shoulden't have
to remind people, but it's much more then
a sale at the store, or a weekend BBQ.

AMEN!! Capt. The freedom we enjoy was payed in full by the giving of someones life for you and I. Thanks to our veterans , servicemen and women we can celebrate this day/weekend. Thank you for reminding folks what Memorial Day is all about. I posted a blog on this same subject last year at this time.
Too many people feel that Memorial Day is nothing more then the "official kick-off to summer". Or a day for a "sale".
I'm glad that there are many, many people in this country who realize and remember the sacrifices our servicemen and women make on a daily basis.
