FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Two firefighters were injured battling a fire at a 14,000-square-foot house near Douglas Lake 5 miles north of Fort Collins.

Poudre Fire Authority spokesman Patrick Love says the fire was reported Saturday afternoon by an ice fisherman. More than 40 firefighters responded to the blaze.

Part of the roof collapsed because of the fire and one firefighter who was injured by falling debris was treated at the scene. Another firefighter was transported to the hospital because of a medical condition, and was later released Love told the Coloradoan.
