Lt. Promotion exam help

I'm taking a Lt. test and part of the in basket is teaching a class on "Leadership in the Fire Service" any ideas on good information on this subject or how to shine. The presentation is 20 min. long.

Explain the difference between having the rank of a leader and perfoming as a leader . It's not just a popularity thing.

The last time I gave a motivational presentation I used the following three quotes as references. They are not fire specific but they are great guide lines for every day life and leadership.
