LOS ANGELES - More than 150 firefighters are battling a blaze at a commercial structure south of downtown Los Angeles near Huntington Park.

The blaze broke out Tuesday evening on East Slauson Ave.

Los Angeles city fire spokesman Devin Gales says there has been a partial roof collapse and electrical wires are down in the immediate area.

Video from television news helicopters shows huge stacks of burning wooden pallets on the property.

Heavy smoke can be seen for miles.
