I have been looking for two distinctive types of engines that I would like to purchase. Basically I grew up around these types of apparatus, and with the broad range of membership here at Firefighter Nation I am hoping I may get a leed on locating one or both.

1947 Mack pumper, I believe an 'L' model with rear booster and mid-mounted deck gun.

1950 Ward LaFrance pumper, rear booster and mid-mounted deck gun. The exact engine of this style was reportedly sold to a golf course "down south" (the engines originated from upstate NY) and possibly in the Carolinas some place.

If there are any collectors, buffs, or firefighters who know where any of these models of engines can be found, please contact me.

Go to www.catskillfire-cats.com and click on Media. There are LOTS of pictures of the apparatus of a member who has a HUGE warehouse of over a hundred old apparatus. Not sure which are for sale, but you can contact them by email.
What... no quint?
