Looking for Information
I was wondering if somebody who is currently working on the job has any info or links to a website or anything related to a local government trying to break up there fire dept. or breaking off pieces of it and giving it away to other departments under the rouse saying it will save the taxpayer money or anything to that effect. Anything would help, Thank You in advance.

Our county government has openly stated that they do not want to be in the fire service anymore. They are looking to contract most of our stations out to other depts. and on top of that this would eliminate about 50 positions right off the bat. They want to pay the cities on a paid per call basis but only at a fraction of what they are taking in from the tax rate so they can keep the rest what a rip off to the citizens.
