Lightening it up

A well respected captain retired today and wouldn't you know it, he gets on TV. Vehicle v hydrant hit-and-run. I wondering though, since he is retired, how does he pay up his ice cream debt? Or is he even required by 'tradition'?

Sounds like a good opportunity to get him back to the station and treat him to ice cream.
