Here is an off the wall topic but it needs to be addressed. Should a landlord replace GAS stove if  I think it's unsafe, or should I call the gas & electric company and have them look at it, or should i call the local fire department and have them red tag it and have the landlord replace the gas stove. What do you think i should do??

The fire department typically can only lock it out and require you to contact the local gas company. But it could be a good place to start.

If the gas stove is included in the apartment that you rent then the landlord is responsible for the safe maintenance of the stove.

Rather than get into a pissing match (initially) with the landlord, you could ask him to come out and inspect it if you think it might be unsafe. If he refuses then call the local gas company, get their evaluation of it and then bring that to the landlord. If the stove is deemed to be unsafe he has no option but to repair or replace it.

Based on the pictures, it looks like you're already shopping for a replacement. Hopefully you're not just trying to upgrade but actually have some legitimate safety concerns. In any event, should the landlord replace it, he will do so with the least expensive stove he can find.
i was just posting the pic of the stoves and yes i have an issue with the safty of my stove in my apartment and i was just wondering witch way i should bring this up so ill try the landlord first thank you for the advice
