John Wooden passed away on June 4, 2010. Wooden was a former English professor who coached several successful UCLA basketball teams. He was a respected
leader who willingly shared his thoughts and beliefs on leadership with anyone
who was interested. If you desire to be a better person, and in return, become
a real leader, like Wooden, study him. Read
his books; go to his website. His pyramid of success is much more than a
methodology on becoming a leader. It’s a prescription for living a good life.
The LEADINGBLOG has a great Wooden story on the strength it takes on the inside to be gentle on the outside.

Much can be accomplished with a calm, confident, and steady approach. Are you a leader who uses control, force, or intimidation; or do you apply strength in
a measured and gentle manner to get things done?
