Hello all.  Can anyone help an internet-illiterate brother out??

I have searched and searched for the equipment lists for required equipment for ISO ratings for engines, and tankers but kept getting the dreaded runaround on the internet...clicking on a link that SAYS "Approved Equipment List for ISO requirements of class "A" pumper" sends me to some damn search engine list with a bunch of crappy unrelated topics and nothing about what I am looking for.  I tried to get to the ISO website but can not find the address...am I a moron?

Does anyone have the lists of required equipment for ISO ratings that I could get a copy of?  I am primarily looking for engines and tankers (tanker/pumper), but if there are any for rescues (medium rescue) I would appreciate getting that as well.  I am trying to improve our department, and explain to them what ISO ratings are and would like to have all necessary info with me when I go the the town board meeting next month.

Thanks in advance!

Our department recently had an ISO evaluation. Here are a couple of links to answer your questions and outline the minimum requrements for specific ratings www.iso.com or www.isomitigation.com  also here is their # 1-800-444-4554 mailing address 545 Washington Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07310-1686.

We went through an ISO inspection last year.  I have all the required documentation.  Send me an email address and I will send you the documentation versus a link to go to.

I just tried to find the same stuff so we could get our new engine to ISO specs. Here is the info that I found.

I was told that ISO is revamping their equipment list so I made contact with them. They confirmed that they are indeed reviewing their list and plan to make some changes. They wouldn't tell me what those changes will be, but said that the new list will be made available when they get it done.

You can acquire a copy of the Fire Suppression Rating Schedule from ISO at the following:ISO 545 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310-1686.  Telephone: 1-800-444-4554 or www.iso.com Your chief can register with ISO and receive period information and upgrade and changes to your equipment, water supply etc online. I would suggest that the Chief of the Department or the Mayor of your city be the ones to request any information on material on your department's behalf.  If you follow NFPA 1901 equipment lists for Pump, Mobile Water SUpply, Ladder Trcuk etc you will cover all of the requirements of ISO and comply with NFPA's requirements as well. Last but not least provide your e-mail I will assist you in receiving the equipment lists.
