Sorry if this not in the right place.  I got a message from a friend about interconnected smoke alarms.  The first issue they had was that they had a small grease fire and the one mounted over the stove never went off.  The second issue is they just randomly beep 3 times in a row then another will do it then another.  Even after putting fresh new batteries in all of them they still just keep beeping at random.   I know absolutely zero about the new interconnected smoke alarms.  If you could help and help them that would be great.  And mods sorry again if this is in the wrong section please move it to where it belongs.

Thanks

Jason

I had the same maddening beeping problem with mine. They continued to beep after I replaced all the batteries. I finally shut down the circuit breaker. I waited a full day and turned the circuit breaker back on. They all started beeping again. I cleaned all of them with the vacuum cleaner. Still the same result. They are now ceiling junk. Each one has a new battery-only detector next to it.

Some of these have a small reset button on the side of them. I have also seen where the breaker needs to shut off and all the battery's replaced and then the breaker turned back on. Good luck!

Thanks, Derek. I'll check closely for the reset button you mentioned.
