No offense and maybe you just get test anxiety. But, if you are not passing the trauma, EMS operation and medical, you need to study a lot more. The majority of those items are basic items in nature. True, cardiology and airway are advanced skills for sure. But, if you are having trouble with the basics, maybe you need to go back to the books. Don't forget, you can always sit in the current class or take a refresher too. If you decide to take a refresher, or get to that point, take it from a different instructor than the one that taught your class. You may see a different teaching style that helps make things sink in better.

first off young gun slow down,dont read so deep into the book i have done this myself it is all pretty basic, as ralph said use both books together, the day of your test reread the areas were you are getting slowed downed in. just remember take your time it will come to you

Calm down, take a few deep breaths, read your notes, go back to the book and re-read the areas of difficulty....I don't think it is a matter of not knowing the material but rather a case of the nerves....you made it through the course you can pass the stupid exam....we have all been there and done that...and so can you.....

The best advice I can give is the same I give students.
1. Know the vocabulary inside and out, it will help you out tremendously.
2. Review all of the objectives, EMTB and EMTS too!!!! If you find a topic your book or class didn't cover well, do some research.
3. Remember your ABC's.
4. Take a lot of pretests. Not just one book or website. Use this to identify what areas you need to review.
5. RELAX!!!!
