At my fire department meeting last night we decided we wanted to turn our extra garage into a search and rescue simulator. We want it to be two levels. We just got a smoke machine as well. Any ideas or pre made plans for building it? Thanks everyone.

I know the University of Maryland's Fire and Rescue Institute has built built maze and smoke house training areas in all their facilities across the state and some counties in the state have their own training facilities and have also built them into trailers.
I would contact the MFRI and see if they can give you some ideas about what you would need to do.
Also the Prince George's County Fire and EMS Services MD have built and designed firefighter self rescue training props to train firefighters what to do if they become trapped during a fire.
Check the internet for contact info.
