I was just wondering how many departments had calls related to fireworks.
Whether it was due to fire caused by fireworks, or injuries while using fireworks.
If you didn't have any calls related to firework, I would also like to hear that as well.

Hey Reg, Good to hear from you again. I have a question for you?
Are fireworks legal in the state of Georgia, as they are here in SC ???
Hey BRH EVFD 570, Thanks again for responding to one of my discussions.
It sounds as if you had a busy day. Always good to hear that no one got hurt.
I have a question for you, dose the state of Oklahoma have legal fireworks ??
What I mean, is can you buy fireworks legally in Oklahoma ?? As far as your
question, whenever you add Booze with anything, you are looking for ????
Well, i'm sure you can answer that question. Thanks again, be well, and stay
safe out there Brother.
Hiya Mick, good to be heard from again! Nope, they evidently have 2(or more?) classes of fireworks. The class that is legal to purchase in GA are the kind that you set on the ground and light and make a pretty fountain of sparks. No explosions and no rockets. So I guess to answer your question, yes and no!

How's that for double-speak!!!

TCSS
My dad used to call these individuals "Dehydrated Assholes". Just add alcohol!!!!
That incident made the news out here. I hope you were smiling for the cameras.
Hey Reg, That's a good answer, very well explained if I say so myself.
Be well, and stay safe Brother.
I can't say that I have ever heard it put that way before, you learn
something new every day. Thanks Reg. Be safe out there Brother.
Hey Peach, Thanks for responing to the discussion. Glad to hear that
you didn't have any calls related to fireworks. Sorry to hear you had to stand by
for two hours for some nut in a tree, but we do whatever we can for our community.
Be well, and stay safe out there brother.
I was on the firing line, assisting at a neighboring departments annual public display, so do you want to count the 20 or so small (less than 1' diameter) fires which were started on site? Otherwise we had 5 actual and 4 mutual aid responses for grass fires which were fireworks related. Several other nearby departments were out of apparatus because of all their fires. The last measurable rainfall in this area occurred on May 26.
Hey Doug, Thanks for responding to the discussion. Glad to hear yall didn't
have much of a fire. However your right, you gotta love hearing some of the
9-11 calls that come in, you would think the whole village was burning.
Be well, and stay safe Brother.
Hey Dewayne, and Diana, Sound like yall had a great fourth of July in
the pool. I'm glad to hear all was quite for yall. Be well, and stay safe
out there.
Hey Billy, Good to hear from you again, and for adding to the discussion.
I would think you got there just in time. I glad to hear everything turned out
for the home owners, I guess they won't be lighting fireworks off in the future.
Be well, and stay safe out there Brother.
