I fix wild turkey, no not the drink. Take a turkey breast cut it into filets strips. Then soak it in buttermilk and kosher salt overnight. Don't over due the salt a little will do ya. Then roll in your favorite fish batter and deep fry as you would fish a few pieces at a time. I use a fry daddy not the big cookers but they would work just as well.
I think it would be just fine on store bought turkey too, They both taste about the same.
I also smoke a whole turkey in the smoker.
