I am Looking for an EMS or EMT Badge. The reason is because we have an annual event and everyone from each department needs something to Identify themselves... The Paramedic or EMS Director told me to look around and find one because I didn't want to have to take money from the department or have to spend money on one... If someone has one that they don't wear send it my way please I would really appreciate it.. if you do so I will send you either one of my Department Patches or A shirt...
Cody, not trying to start a fight or an argument here but, if you are not an EMT how can you wear an EMT badge? With wearing the EMT badge then you are showing that you are an EMT. If you are not then you shouldn't be wearing it. So you shouldn't be wearing it. This is just what I know from being an EMT for 5 years and a firefighter for 17. If you aren't either a Certified EMT or a firefighter whether it be Volunteer, paid, Jr. or Explore then you shouldn't be wearing a badge that is saying you are. Like I said, not trying to start a fight or an argument, this is just what I know. Good luck other wise and you might want to look into what the rules are for your department and maybe what your health department has in their rules. What I am telling you is from New York and am not sure what the rules, regulations or laws are for Colorado. Just don't want to see you get into trouble for having something on that really you shouldn't have. We all look out for each other and try to help.
I have also been reading your posts on others threads Cody and came to these conclusions.
a. You have a need for acceptance.
b. You don't get that at your department.
c. You will go elsewhere, on the net, to gain acceptance.
d. You don't get acceptance from reasonable adults on this website.
e. You get angry like a child who wants it his way or else.
f. You have a youthful know-it-all attitude and refuse to accept the hard truthful advice from experienced adults you recieve here.
I do have high regards for most of the members here including juniors/explorers. You should know your level of experience, your place in your department and your attitude is going to get you somewhere, not your mouth.
Good luck and I certainly hopes this helps you. TCSS
Well,
Billy,
This isnt a place to issue your opinion on what you think about Cody,
Im pretty sure he doesnt give a damn about what you think about him.
I'm agreeing with the EMT Patch issue though.
Which is the issue at hand, not what you think about his personality.
