For me, a different sort of Hazmat job. I spent today performing de-con for members of the Police involved in a search. Many of the houses destroyed in out recent fires seem to have had asbestos used in their construction. A definite safety issue.

The location for this work was saddening. Has anyone been in a town that was virtually destroyed by fire? Until today, I hadn't. Towns destroyed in any manner must give the same feeling. You can see something in photos, but to actually see it, and be working in it, is a different thing.

I've never seen one destroyed bu fire, but have been in a couple after being totally destroyed by tornadoes.
Then you understand what I mean. The feeling is hard to describe.
Was this arson,Wild fire, or a block party? I seen a town wiped out by a forrest fire when I lived in California. What a devastating sight. (excuse the spelling) I took supplies tothe town its verry sad :(
Where I was yesterday is one of the towns destroyed in our recent bushfires. Arson? I don't know.
