My department has been using the Emergency Reporting system for a few years now and we are very pleased with it. Some of the positives that I like about it are the reporting section is really easy to use and is set up to give you the info to fill out depending on the type of call you responded to. All of the features it has are pretty user friendly and it has a guide section in case you have any troubles. They also do a good job of regularly updating and improving the program. It's also heavily backed up and protected which is a good bonus.

The only doenside was entering the info when we first got the program. That was mostly with inventory of equipment which is actually under the maintenance tag and not inventory. But once we got it figured out it wasn't too bad, and it has been improved since then.

I have used the firehouse program as well and while the report writing was pretty much the same, we seemed to have alot of problems and glitched with it. It is also not web based so we could only access it at the station. The Emergency Reporting program is web based so it's accessible on any computer which is really nice.

Our department uses firehouse, but my previous department used firepro. Firepro is kind of a dumbed down version of firehouse. Firehouse is more of a large departmental reporting system because it has sooooo many different features. You should check out both to see which one you like but I would suggest either one.
