I cannot see how they are preventing you from being blinded by the light... The more expensive Supervisor Lightbar for example is designed to prevent any light from reflecting back into the drivers eyes... You get what you pay for... Mike

Ok, I'm not sure about this particular light but. . My brother has one of these LED lights on his PU truck. It mounts around the rear view mirror. His has several different "flash" patterns. It can be all red, all white or both colors. It is bright!! We have to "test" everything. We tried the different patters with me in my vehicle in front of him. Then we tried it with his vehicle behind mine to see if it was really visible. Then we drove up & down the street. (have to check out all the new playtoys)
They are highly visible even from a distance. They get a driver's attention quickly from either direction & they don't require a lot of mounting that messes up your vehicle. They are fairly inexpensive & low voltage. Several of our members have them on their vehicles now & they seem to do the job very well. If I ever decide to use lights & siren, this is the way I would probably go.

The driver doesn't see the lights @ all. They project out the window but there is no glare around the lightbar to blind the driver. Its not like in the old days with the teardrop that you had to put cardboard or foil around. They run in a line, not rotate.
our dept. gives every member one of these lights. yours or all red. they are bright.
i have three of them going across the top of my windshield one red/white and two red/red i love them also have hide away strobes in my headlights/tail lights and the led lights work just as good if not better then them.
hey man i love mine, the only thing is you can get them for $78.50 at www.needlights.com i love this site cause there is no taxes or shipping and they have more colors than galls does, and everythings cheaper
It is a good light. I own a strobe light and siren company and have products that in my opinion are better than that for about the same price. If you or anyone is interested in any type of dash light or siren product just email me at shadowsstrobesnsirens@yahoo.com
