cairins 1010 v. cairins 1044 v. morning pride ben 2 plus
what is the difference with all these. i am looking for a helmet that is light weight and durable. what helmet should i go with? Any comments are welcomed

really no difference between the 1010 & 1044 except for the paint finish. The 1010 has a shinny finish and the 1044 has a dull finish. we use the 1044 and I like mine alot. I cant compare to the ben2 because I have never used one.

The 1010 is still the old fiberglass painted helmet. The 1044 is a material called Duraglass, the color is impregnated in it. The 1044 and the 1010 are the same size and weight. The 1044 is less expensive. They all still have to pass the same NFPA tests.
