Looks like another case of elected officials padding their wallets. The Electorate be damned.

I would think there are a few other places that have crooked politician padding their future.

Our county has been in financial problems since the late 80s after 12 years of one group of politicians cleaned out the county money pot to make the county better than the other counties around us.

If it hadn't been for term limitations some of them would still be running things.

The last county leader and his wife had the FBI comedown on them for  excepting money for illegal contraband  money of  liquor, tobacco products and real estate dealings. Both are going to prison soon for up to 40 years for him and a year and half for her.

The one in office now we are waiting to see what he will be hit with after members of the fire service found out where he got his campaign money.

Our combination fire service has not seen a good leadership since the 80s. County fire chiefs have come and gone faster than oil changes.

The rest of the county has not seen a of cost of living raises and improvements in the county because of the money has not gone up because of laws to prevent taxes to go over a certain a mount.

Many county employees have had to take furlough days without pay to help the county.

Some of the fire stations had to have career crews pulled for 24 hours which closed some stations and left it up to the volunteers to man stations to keep them open.
