I am just letting all of you know that on the 11th of next month is coming up soon meaning 9/11/01. I will never forget that day and my prayers goes out to those who died on that horific day. Also Firefighter angels watches over them every day and night. I again pray for our troops who are fighting over there every day.

Apparently you do not believe in or support the Constitution.
Not well said, but said.
Thank you John, I see these people that have never read the Constitution and do not beleive in it as tratiors. They believe in the flag but not the Bill of Rights. That is fucked up.
HEY! Someone deleted the post Jack and I were responding too! No fair!
John, what difference does it make if the group that conducted a sneak attack on our country were citizens of another country or members of a religiously-motivated transnational terrorist group?

None, actually. You are drawing an artificial distinction.

You are also replying to things that I didn't say. Please re-read my post.

"It is their Constitutionally guaranteed rights to worship how they please. " I've never said otherwise. However, the rest of us have the right to ask them for some sensitivity - the same sensitivity that they expect from us.

I've never said that the Muslim group doesn't have the right to build their center/mosque/whatever on their property. I specifically said "As Sen. McCain said, it's not a question of intolerance on the part of the people who don't want a mosque next door to Ground Zero, it's insensitivity on the part of the people who want to put it there."

Your statement about the Christmas threads and persecution is a straw man logical fallacy. I've never said that the Muslims should be persecuted, and I'm not persecuting them. I've never said that they shouldn't have a place to worship.

Your statement "So why should there be a freedom FROM religion clause now then?"is another straw man. I've never said that, and in fact have strongly espoused the exact opposite, including in the Christmas threads.

John, in fact your entire post here is another type of logical fallacy - the false dilemma. You are talking about the difference in rights between Japan and Islam, when rights are not the point. Sensitivity, not rights, is the point.
No, just their version of it.

Were the murderers of Decemter 7, 1941 representing all Japanese?

The answer to that one, is "No", too, so what's your point?
Luke, you used the same two straw man logical fallacies that John Crabbe did...

I didn't say that the Muslims who want to build near Ground Zero are terrorists.

I didn't say that those same Muslims don't have the right to build their mosque on the property that they own.

I just said that it is insensitive, which it clearly is.

The Japanese have enough sensitivity to avoid a similar controversy at Pearl Harbor.
The terrorist bomber in Oklahoma City was a christian, you would think the christians would have the respect and simple decency to not have a christian church or christian memorial near the bombing site there.
God Bless our Brothers and Sisters

Which one?
the stream of consciousness that you responded with 7 points, I wrote in the same style as the author of the original
