I LOVE RESCUE ME!i have each season on dvd and i've seen the episodes that not everyone has seen like the irish blood hound(hilarious) and the other episode leading up to the new Season on direct tv. lol me and my friend Bass are hooked and we always kid around with our cheif saying "Rescue Me is on tonight so you better have someone to replace us if theres a call" lol

I love the show. Leary is awsome regardless! Though I know a majority of FDNY guys I know cant stand the show. Still funny though.

I personally can't stand it. It paints firfighters in a bad light. Especially last nites episode when he thinks about killing the baby. I know things of this nature may happen in real life but he is showing the exception rather than the rule in my opinion. Most of us are decent human beings who work multiple jobs to take care of our family. I hope this is the last season.

i think he does which i dont like very well! As crazy as shelia is id rather see her get the baby over killing that baby!

I really enjoy the show...I will actually watch it more than once a week as they replay it on Friday and Sunday as well. I think you have to take it for the entertainment value and not analyze it too much though. Capt790 is right, the characters are great, doesn't matter what profession they are from.

Tried watching it a few times, but just couldn't stand it. Too much like watching a soap opera. Guess I haven't watched it in a while, maybe I'll try again sometime. Ok, I'll go set the TiVO now.
