World Firefighters Games
Hi there was just wondering if anyone out there has been to any world firefighter or world police and fire games, I've been to 3 firefighters games (Auckland, Las Vegas and Perth) and 1 police and fire games (Melbourne).
I found they were a great social event and I think there were some sports involved

world firefighter games in 2008 is in Liverpool. it is basically a mini olympics for firefighters and their families. The worlds toughest firefighter sounds like a neat competition, although they dont tell you what it is

Have many brothers who have been, but my games in 97 Stockholm were missed due to the birth of my oldest son...Ill take that trade all day long.
Planning on Vancouver on the bike...didnt realize Liverpool was next year, going ot be over anyway, so might try and make that one.

I'm hoping to get there in 2009 in Vancouver. If I can get a volleyball team together, I'll do that (I seem to remember there being beach, much easier to find a team of two... lol), or maybe swimming. I start being coached again this weekend... wheeeee!!!
