This was said to a student when she was recovering from a seizure at a medical building at my college right outside the Paramedic Class room.

"Don't worry, there is enough want to be Medics in this building you might just die"

She starting horse laughing and forgot what had happened to her.
My personal favorite is "Pain is weakness leaving the body." It was said by Sr. D.I. Staff Sgt Lewis 3rd Batallion Marines to my fellow Marines and I on Parris Island.

One of my favorite quotes is in regards to my FD and how we don't have the best or prettiest of equipment. A senior guy said to me, "Pretty bells and whistles don't save lives." Another quote was from another senior guy in regards to a neighboring department who have the best of equipment, but they lack a little in skills. He said, " I don't care what's on your truck(equipment), I care about what's in your truck(men)."
