my dept actually started last week with fire prevention. we went to a few schools and a few classes came to our dept. we still have this week full of prevention appprox two a day thorugh friday. i cant wait .

we just had our Open House/ Fire Prevention Day today. i thought it was sucessful, we thad a rescue demo, a 911 simulater, sparky, and fp videos.

we started last week. We had a preschool come to our department on Wednesday and Thursday and now we have our schools which is 6 of them to do on October 16th and 17th. We run a fire drill and then we talk to the kindergartners at 2 of the schools. Looking forward to it...

My dept goes to about 2-3 schools during the week and educate the kids about whatever the topic would be. And at tthe end of the week we'll have our open house at one of the firehouses.
