At the height of the fire there were some 180 firefighters from throughout the Phoenix metro area battling the blaze. It broke out about 8 p.m. Sunday at the Temple-Inland Inc. facility near 51st Avenue and Colter St.

The cause remains under investigation, although fire officials say a lightning strike was a possibility.

The fire was confined to rolls of paper and cardboard and no structures were reported damaged.

There were no injuries.

Temple-Inland is based in Austin, Texas, and manufactures corrugated packaging and building materials.
