Just curious if any body out there has any experience with 1st attack brush trucks, any likes, dislikes. Plan writing a grant for one this year, not to sure if we have good odds of getting one,but i guess it never hurts to ask. I will try to see if I can add the link to their site here (not to good at this compunter stuff) and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The department I'm on just took delivary of our new 1st Attack brush truck which is listed on their website under the brush/rescue area. This truck is set up for brush/grass fire only and not rescue. It was a great experience and they made us an awsome truck. They are a smaller shop but can get it done. Their fab skills are great and we have no compaints at all. We sat down with salesman Nile Ray and made a spec for the truck and listed what we needed on it and what it had to do and let them build it. We are very happy and the truck works great for our needs. Let me know if you have any more questions and you can see more pictures on our Facebook page. If you are serious about fighting a lot of big bushfires, the NSW Rural Fire Service has a killer line of apparatus. Our primary is the Category 1: Heavy appliance, 6 person crew cab

you can see the rest of our line-up here:

The tactics and approach are totally different from anything I've seen in the US, but these apparatus are holy hell at fighting bushfire in the craziest of locations.
