10 Commandments

1.Thou Salt Always Protect and Save Lives

2.Thou Shalt Always Be Courageous

3.Thou Shalt Always Heed All Cries for Help

4.Thou Shalt Help All Those In Need

5.Thou Shalt Have Strength of Heath and Body

6.Thou Shalt Always Work As a Team

7.Thou Shalt Demonstrate Leadership Ability

8.Thou Shalt Serve Unselfishly

9.Thou Shalt Always Be Proud To Be a Firefighter

10.Thou Shalt Keep All Equipment Ready

I found this while thinking about what would the Firefighter 10 Commandments be. I think it needs to be a little different. Especially since a certain crew in DC forgot about #4.

Take out #7 and add Thou shalt always establish a water supply.

Remove #8 and add Thou shall always wear PPE on all emergency scenes.

How would your 10 Commandments look?

I like them just as they are. The only thing that comes to mind is a small wording addition to #10: "Thou shalt always keep thyself and thy equipment ready."
