Latest Activity: Sep 3, 2015
The 2nd Annual NFFF Knoxville Memorial Stair Climb is being held at the iconic Sunsphere in Knoxville. You can watch the first responders as they climb, like no other place in the Country. Our Climb will be held on Saturday morning on Knoxville's Boomsday weekend. Come out and support our first responders as they climb in remembrance of their fallen brothers and sisters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-2001.
Each climber pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter, police, or EMS by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Their individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through first responders and community support we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and that the world knows that we will never forget.
The Stair Climb benefits the programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters.
PLEASE NOTE: This climb is limited to first responders only: However, all our welcome to support our first responders who have come from all over the Country to climb in remembrance of those lost in the line of duty.
Event t-shirts will be available for sale at the Visit Knoxville location in Downtown Knoxville on behalf of Servpro of Rocky Hill, Sequoyah Hills.
