DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Annual NFFF Knoxville Memorial Stair Climb is bein
 g held at the iconic Sunsphere in Knoxville. You can watch the first r
 esponders as they climb, like no other place in the Country. Our Climb
  will be held on Saturday morning on Knoxville's Boomsday weekend. Com
 e out and support our first responders as they climb in remembrance of
  their fallen brothers and sisters who selflessly gave their lives so 
 that others might live on 9-11-2001.Each climber pays tribute to an FD
 NY firefighter, police, or EMS by climbing the equivalent of the 110 s
 tories of the World Trade Center. Their individual tribute not only re
 members the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes t
 heir heroic journey to save others. Through first responders and commu
 nity support we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honore
 d and that the world knows that we will never forget.The Stair Climb b
 enefits the programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foun
 dation (NFFF) to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefig
 hters.PLEASE NOTE: This climb is limited to first responders only: How
 ever, all our welcome to support our first responders who have come fr
 om all over the Country to climb in remembrance of those lost in the l
