We just ordered a Pierce Big Block Custom Contender. 6 man cab, 1500 pump,1800 gallons of water.

We just received a kme 6-man cab 1000 gal. water 1500gpm pump we are going to use as our rescue pumper , of course painted black to match the rest of our fleet , pic of truck is on kme web site , as far as prefrence on manufacture , no prefrence we look at price ,service, who meets specs , how well built ,

a Darley Engine...we spec'd it out ourselves...Local company...in case of problems (always something)...Probably go back in the future....Jerome Fire did well for us...it is a 2000gpm pump, CAFS system on board......Yellow of course....(Not going there...LOL)

Our most recent purchase was a KME Predator Pumper / Tender. We took delivery of it in Nov last year. Our other Engine is a 2004 E-one Typhoon II. No we do not have a preferred Manufacturer. Primarily who ever can meet our specifications an at the best price. Both KME and E-One were very good experiences. Much of this is attributed to the salesman we worked with.

We just received in Sept our new Pierce PUC. We love it...great all around truck. E13 makes it our 4th pierce in service right now.
