Firefighter Charged With Driving Engine Drunk
MADRAS, Ore. -- A volunteer firefighter has been charged with drunken driving and accused of yelling obscenities while driving a fire truck through a campground at Lake Billy Chinook in central Oregon.
Police said 34-year-old Kristopher Wood of Redmond was also charged with reckless driving, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and failure to perform the duties of a driver.
The Jefferson County sheriff's office got a call Sunday morning from Cove Palisades State Park staff to report that an intoxicated firefighter was screaming at campers from his truck.
Deputies said Wood had crashed his car on his way to work and took a fire truck, turning on the siren and awakening campers at about 60 sites in the park as he drove around.

Hmmm Kinda makes our Canadian dudes that ripped off the "keg O Suds" here look like saints compared to this drunken specimen. Go big or go home I guess! What a creep!

BREAKING NEWS FROM CBC NATIONAL NEWS ROOM.... A firetruck, complete with activated lights and sirens, was seen speeding through the border crossing at Washington State and the Canadian Border. As the engine crashed the gates, causing all on duty border officers to jump to safety, they heard the driver screaming and yelling obscenities as he gave the single finger salute. As the truck spead off towards Oregon, a large wooden keg with a famous Canadian beer brand on it, was seen on top of the hose bed. Eye witnesses also mentioned they thought they noticed a few more people hiding under the tarp covering the hose bed. They immediately ruled out Mexican illegal immagrants.
