Ed by chance whats considered a good fever as I've yet to ever have one. I think the H1N1 is probably something the doctors and pharmecutical companies are making a quick buck off. I'm not sure of the statistics, but how many people in the so called vulnerable ages, are more affected or die by the H1N1than the regular flu. I also believe some of the people and more so of the elderly that are said to die from H1N1, had predisposing factors, but said they died from H1N1 inorder to hype up this new flu. I'm hoping the readers are impressed with my punctuation, commas etc.....
Hi Derek,

If you go on health canada web site, and look for myth busting they saying that the mercury in the booster shot is no more than a can of tuna is actuly 4 time lower then a can of tuna, and is the same dozage that is in the HEP B shot or a tetanus shot,
and also that the booster shot is made of natural ingredients like, water, vatamin E, and squalene oil...
You can find that information under women pregnancy .
This maybe help you take a better decision or give you more info on it...

take care brother

same here
I get regular updates from the CDC and yes it appeared this strain was not as bad but....what they are finding out is there's permanent damage to the lungs plus you could be sick up to 1 month or more. Children and pregnant woman are a must for this shot. Another point is that many are being diagnosed with it falsely, this process takes about a week to determine, new technologies are coming but only 3 or 4 have the capabilities to do same day. This one you ought to get.
it takes alot for me to get sick so im going to pass on the shots bc i hate needles lol
This is such media hype lets scare the population
Well for what its worth I've already gotten mine. Had to department ordered us all to. We all got the regular flu shot and then a week later got the H1N1 nasal flu mist crap. The vaccine is a dead virus, but the flu mist is not a dead virus it is an attenuated strain that is rendered inert with the other ingredients and refrigeration. None of us has had any adverse effects from it, and most of us have kids at home that have gotten lucky enough to bring it home with them from school. The only thing that any of us felt afterwards was a little drainage in the back of your throat, and a minor headache but that is all. Good luck it is your decision but I can tell you that if you don't get the shot but get the flu you will be hating life for at least 3 days.
I'm getting the shot. It's better than not getting it, getting sick and spreading it before the symptoms become noticable. Think of the kids, elderly, imune compromised and pregnant.

We didn't get into this "service" to think of ourselves first or worry about our own fears. And media aside, there have been enough deaths, more than with the regular flu (which I also get a shot for), that thinking I was the reason it spread just a little farther would suck!
Well I decided to get the shot, my wife and 2 children are not getting it. I got it for 2 reasons, 1st... I have asthma, 2nd I didn't want to spread it to my family or anyone else.
I did feel sick for about 2 days after, but all is well!
thanks
Ya know, it takes the FDA years to approve some medications, because of repeated trials and test. Now this comes along, untried even on rats, and I'm supposed to trust it?

I don't think so Scooter!
The only thing different in the vaccine is that it is for a specific virus, the H1N1. The seasonal flu vaccines are a composite of various inactivate or dead flu types. The point being to allow a person's body to develop antibodies to a specific flu or group of flu's.

So far as I know there is no new technology being used or untried methods. They do offer two different types of vaccine, dependent upon which at-risk group one falls into. Intranasal LAIV (Live) vaccine aka “FluMist" and Inactivated (aka Dead) Injectable Vaccine.

The biggest 'popular' concerns seems to be the use of mercury in the vaccine. But apparently it is used in most flu vaccines. I think the greatest concern should be that the vaccine leaves the user susceptible to mind-reading techniques perfected by the government. Yea yea, I know what you're thinking...
