Well it ended with out a hitch fairly busy around here don't know about the rest of the state, lots of paper work to catch up on after being gone for 9 days the preivious week. The transition to the 5" supply line has been stressful with some issues loading on the older engine we were not able to get the 1000' on the engine like I had planned, 800' will just have to do it should go easier on the new engine I suspect we will be able to get well over a 1000' on it. The price of fuel has me a little concerned this year with diesel at $4.50 and gas at $3.80 a gallon hope we don't have to busy of a year or it will be back to the budget. Hope everyone is safe and having a great spring.

thanks Ben, I will have to try that and see if it will give us the extra space to get the extra two lengths on board.

Gordon, Are you trying to load the 5-inch hose in a flat load? If that is the case, try a horseshoe load for the LDH. You have to carefully plan where to put the couplings, but you may be able to get the extra two sections in the hose bed if you try the horseshoe load.

I never thought I would hope for a slow season just because of FUEL prices. Its kinda sad and a bit upsetting. We had to ease up on pump training just because of the high cost of fuel. But we will all find a way through it. Good luck -Matt
