I run with the Wellsboro Fire & EMS in Wellsboro Pennsylvania. I started in the fire service at age 14 and started in EMS around age 19. I currently serve as the assistant chief of ambulance and rescue operations for Wellsboro EMS and I also serve as the Wellsboro Fire department's Truck Company Lieutenant. I work for Laurel Health system as an EMT-Basic in a prehospital setting. Any other information may be passed along with inqueries.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
to help the community and it has been a family tradition for 4 genterations. I have always enjoyed solving problems. The fire service and EMS fields allows a fast paced puzzle that needs to be solved quickly and effectively.

Hello everyone! My name is Doug Champaign, I am a firefighter/ emt-B in the big town of Wellsboro, PA. I have been around firefighting all of my life, my dad is a fireman, his dad was a fireman and so on and so on. I have 5 years in as a senior firefighter, but I have 4 years that is off the record as a junior firefighter with the same station.
