About Me:

My name is Blake. I'm a FF/EMT for the Ashton Fire Department. I've been on the department since Feb. 2008, and I have Loved every minute of it. I've made the choice to make firefighting a full-time career and would move to join them. If I do leave I will never forget my hometown department who got me started into Fire and EMS. Also I'll never forget the people that made up our department.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined my local fire department because it was something I could do to help people and improve my teamwork skills. I've always had fire around me, either making bonfires, hearing stories from my Uncle, or putting candles out on my birthday cake at 1yr old. I'm now planning to make Firefighting a full-time career.

Its something you dont do for the money you do because you love to do it.
