- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- The Air Force recruiter asked me if I ever thought about be a firefighter? I asked "Whats that"? He said a fireman, and I said ok. He called to see if there was an opening, there was and my start date for basic training was Jun 7, 1974.

- Brothers and sisters in the Dept who took care of each other.
