Hey LT. i messaged you around October asking about your Fire Departments test and when your Dept. will be hiring again and you said message you back around spring time. so has anything came up yet?
No not yet, unfortunately there are no departments around here hiring yet. But i do start college Monday to get my associates in Fire Science. A few departments are fixing to accept applications, and I am going to be there to get one. I cant wait to get my career rolling!
Greg, no, Aumsville is about 6 houre north east of us next to Salem. Actually just down the road from our State Fire Academy. I am not familiar with the firefighters in that area Sorry Ladd. We are at the far end of the Oregon coast next the Cal/Or border.
No wonder I liked your responses... Not having looked at your website prior, you've been around the block once or twice. Anyone who is an IAFF brother and has gray hair is cool with me. Stay safe Greg.

Greg,
Sorry so late with this response, I don't remember seeing it. The title is basically an old saying that an old Bat. Chief used to say. Meaning that we are our own worst enemies in most cases. In the firehouse, on the fireground and so on. That is the basis of the blog and the class that I present by the same title.
Take care and have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
