Right now, water rescue is very busy. It sucks though, cuz we usually don't 'rescue' we 'recover.' I guess that's how it goes though. I have run calls with the Topeka SWAT, but we just staged until everything was over. They got to play and we did the cleanup :)
Water rescue is cool, but I'm really into the Technical Rescue thing right now. I would love to be a SWAT medic, but that specialty doesn't really exist in my city.
He is with the county's department. He's a volly so they get sent all over the county. also he is in charge of PB county fire rescue's marine units, and in charge of a volley engine and brush unit in the north end of the county in juno beach. also the volly's work with the arson guys a lot... his name is David Singer. whats your friends name
Hazmat here is pretty much alot of training and training and you guessed it training. We do however get some decent calls. My absolute love is vehicular extrications. We really don't have enough of them. LOL The first call we recieved for our new SH900 I missed cause I was in Florida, Figures! Tazin' people sounds like fun too. I would give myself 24 hours before mine would get taken away if I was a cop.
