Is this still an active group ? I know I have been missing in action here. I don't see activity since 2016.
IMG_20150716_191451725.jpg Been too long since last post. We all know how it goes...things get busy, things get forgotten. Turned in officers hat, just a black hat now and loving it !! Two of my children now belong to the hall. Made Top Responder again. Been a top responder since 2010. I retired, we had a house built, my mother now lives with us. She fell a couple of years ago and fractured her hip. We told her she cant go back home, its not safe for her. she fell bringing in wood for the wood stove. Took some adjusting but I think we are all doing ok now. We have had some great training lately. Me and the kids took Fire Police class together. I think I need more patches, still for sale ?
Welcome back George, you will do well in the White Hat Position. And may you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Safe New Year
hi all, been a bit. our elections are coming up tomarrow night and think I will turn in my Cpt's helmet. our chief just passed away and he was "grooming"me for a chief's position but I just don't feel like it right now.i just want to be a blackhat. Been kind of busy, nothing serious, just the run of the mill calls.
wow...it's been a long time since I have been here. How is everyone ? we just got back from N.C, for a Neyuheru';ke 300 mmmmm 'celebration'. while there after one of the lectures a ma walks over and leans to look at my patch and says ' I thought I seen a firefighter and hands me a patch from his company. He says he is a retired Batt. commander from Greenville fire-rescue. so cool. I was just sorry I didn't have any patch's to give him. so I will be getting in touch and buying some patch's .
