House Fire Scenario, Wednesday 1600 hrs.
Answer based on your area and operations
At 1600 hours on Wednesday your station is alerted to a house fire. The dispatcher adds that additional calls from people on the scene report smoke showing from the structure. Most of your staffing has left their places of employment and are able to respond to the firehouse.
Your units responding are two engines and one tanker. A second fire department has been alerted.
Based on your staffing and size-up, what will be your initial report and directions?
What additional companies/firefighters do you expect to respond at this day and time in your area?
What assignments do you expect to be given to incoming companies?

Jason Milici Engine 30 on scene. Single story residential structure. Heavy black smoke from Charlie side, lazy brown smoke from Alpha and Delta side. Possible extension into attic with possible exposures. Stretching 1-3/4" to Charlie side for a direct attack, start mutual aid engines and tankers from so and so towns and tankers from so and so towns. Mark so and so as command, will perform a 360 and update as needed.
(after 360) Contact dispatch to contact the electric company. And perform necessary updates, propane tank, any hazards out back etc... And stretch an additional 1-3/4" line to the front door.

Ben Barber 373 on scene have 360 done and determine fire location. Pumper for tankers refill and location of ponds. Get team inside for quick search inside and line on fire . Collect information and adjust to conditions. If flames show outside the structure 2nd alarm activated .
