Well it's for the fact that they can sit and talk about the stuff that's seen and understand where you're coming from. The only problem is if you need up on the same scene, but as long as you can maintain the relationship while on scene and not let it get in the way.

Whatever happened to just nodding and saying "uh-huh" at the right times and smiling supportively, while thinking of something else like changing the oil or cleaning out the tackle box?

I want some "me" time and that doesn't include my wife of 31 years.
And she is good with it. In fact, when she gets a good book to read, I won't hear a peep out of her until she's done reading it. Is that Heaven or what?

Because we share common job with firefighters. They help people in emergencies, and understand the long, weird hours. And hey, most men in a uniform just get cuter. And I do believe what the Tshirt says, "They find them hot and leave them wet." hahaha

Because they have lost their minds........my firefighter freinds are like my brothers....ewwww. That and I married one (learned ALOT after that mistake) and it backfired really, really, really bad. Did I mention it backfired? Yea.....no scars....no baggage.....BAM! Backfired....okay, I'm done.....lol.
Badge bunnies....now THATS funny! I'm scannning around looking at the photos some of these girls put up and its like....pllllease! Surely I'm not the only one who sees this blatent "throwing myself at any guy in fire gear" thing. YUCK! I agree with FireSiren, some guys definatley play right into that....hey man, whatever it takes for you to get the chicks! (ugh)
