Who/what annoys the hell out of you?
I'll start...
Weather forecasters! When did they become rockstars? When the weather is good they act like they created it and like we should be thanking them personally for the warm, sunny day! When they are wrong which is 50% of the time they never mention their mistake. I hate those bastards.

and sometimes, just sometimes, these individuals will demonstrate a total lack of judgement and maturity, doing silly things like videotaping gross calls and then showing the footage around town... just a thought Mark...

I couldn't have said it better myself Vic. What an annoyance to not have everyone acknowledge that we are all knowing. Geez, it's pretty damn obvious we've been riden hard and put away wet more than once. Trust me, we know what's best for folks like George, and don't worry about consulting him first, he's good with whatever we come up with, right George?

I would rather someone tell me that they do not want to wear an airpack BEFORE they go into the building with me INSTEAD of freak out and going running out of the building potentially leaving me in a pickle... or giant super hot fire, if you will... alone...

only you and your wife can call me that...
ok, maybe a few others... but not everyone on FFN... they have to earn it...
So quit it, 'cuz next thing you know there will be a big jealous fight on here over who gets to use "their little pet names" for me... and quite frankly, some of those names are a little over-the-top (not at all like me)...

You posed an interesting problem. I think you should make this a whole new discussion of its own and ask people to make suggestions on how to make yourself righteous again with the FD.
Just a thought. I bet a bunch of people on here would have some comments pro/con to help you.

yes yes yes it is all about prevention
and when my kids lit our dining room on fire while I was in the bathtub, they had the fire put out before they even got me from the other end of the house, since I taught them fire safety... and the elements of putting a fire out... and without water, they smothered it... and no one got hurt... I was so proud !!!
and when my adult daughter's apartment complex burned down in May... she and her boyfriend were able to get everyone out of the building because they had working smoke detectors in every room in their apartment... AND got up and went and checked when the neighbors smoke detectors were going off at 3 AM... had practiced fire drills... knew where their multiple usable exits were... and had RENTER INSURANCE to cover their lost belongings... again everyone was safe... and I was so proud !!!
